prelims.
I think the anxiousness hasn't quite gotten into me yet..
It suddenly seems that I'm able to tap this part of my memory capacity that I never knew I possessed before. I wonder why.

10 more hours to Oral Presentation aka hour-of-doom. Wish me luck, guys. (Though I hope I won't need it.)

Looking at both my phone and my email, I don't know whether to laugh or to cry at the sheer amount of spam that has flooded my inbox. It's remarkable how many of them hit on my favourite number, though it's probably coincidence. And V~~
The things you guys do sometimes really astound me. In a good way, of course.

Coming from an all-girls school for the past 10 years, it really comes as a shock when faced with all the complexities of relationships (whether real or not is a different matter) in the mixed jcs.
Exactly how, how, is interacting with a (or multiple) classmate(s) any 'evidence' of an 'intent', may I ask? - Mood:irate

The good news: I bought a new hand phone - Nokia 6121c, which is quite a big improvement over my old one which doesn't even have an mp3 player. The bad news: I'm also going to flunk every single test I have this week Monday: Chinese test, 50 phrases + 3 chapters Wednesday: History (IH) test, quiz + essay Thursday: General Paper, Education package
If this is any indication of how JC life will be for the next two years, perhaps heading to polytechnic or a different school would have been a better choice. My seniors(you know who you are) are definitely cool though.

I shudder at the prospect. That's a major downside of Procrastination indeed.
Fun O Rama 19th's over, but school life is just becoming more and more hectic. To the ex-Crescentions and 4G1ers who came down - Salma, Yuan Qing, Jing Wen, Jia Ying Edlyn and many others - thank you for coming down. It was fun reminiscing about our Sec 4 days. It was great seeing the PAE1SB6 people too, even though I'm now in 1SB1.
The homework and tests keep piling up on top of each other, and CCA is a lot more demanding than in secondary school. (Then again, I do have four CCAs: SGC, SMC, Tech Council and History Society.) I don't understand Kinematics and Dynamics at all, and I'm missing the point of the History essay questions. GP...is not as bad as I had imagined, but it still can't beat KI in terms of interesting content.
To top matters off, my Tablet still keeps logging me out, so it'll take a miracle for me to finish off what I had planned for the next two weeks. - Tags:school

This past week hasn't been all that great, what with attending my grandfather's funeral and falling sick for the funeral's last two days. And there is this weird thing going on with my TabletPC where it keeps flashing back to the login screen (the one where you have to click Ctrl+Alt+Delete) every few minutes.
On the funeral: All the kids were supposed to skip school on Wednesday (the fifth day for the wake) for funeral rites. Now, I wouldn't protest too much against skipping school, but as luck had it, that Wednesday happened to have nearly all my subjects scheduled (GP, Physics, History, Econs & Econs make-up) so I would be missing out on a lot. Falling sick on Tuesday and getting a two days MC ruined what hopes I had of going back for lessons.
The good news: I finally got around to installing (and patching) Granado Espada on the main computer so I can start playing GE on the weekends. Using Photoshop is still out of the question though.
Edit: Why, why does POT have to end?

Anticipation has, and always will be, the hardest part of waiting. Waiting for the release of exam results sure beats waiting for notification about school posting. Trying to work out something with Photoshop in the meantime.
So uh, Anglo-Chinese Junior College (Sci) will be my school for the next two years. After being rejected by National (twice!) and Victoria, perhaps this is a part of my 'destiny'? I don't mind too much, since AC is the nearest to home and more importantly, has the best History department in the country.
With school postings out of the way, the next issue will then be about subject combinations - difficult for me because I don't even know what I want. For those who don't know, I currently take Knowledge&Inquiry (an advanced form of General Paper), Physics, Maths and History all at the H2 level. I'm deliberating on whether to drop KI because I'm not even sure if I can cope with the workload and due to potential protests at home if I cannot get an A for the subject. On the flipside, should I decide to drop KI, I'll still need another subject but neither Economics or Chemistry are very appealing - even so, at the H1 or H2 level?
Usually I would just take up wherever I think I'll do well in, but since the only reason why I'm in Junior College is History (that is, I still don't care if I flunk every other subject so long as I get an A for History)...that doesn't bode all that well for me, does it? - Tags:misc: thoughts, school

Subject..............Grade English Language.......A1 Combined Humanities....A1 Geography..............B3 Mathematics............A1 Additional Mathematics.A1 Physics................A1 Chemistry..............A2 Chinese Language.......A2
L1R5=7, L1B4=5
5A1s, 2A2s and 1B3. No expectations or hopes in regards to the results (save for Combined Humans because the teacher had dared to fail me in Prelims), so I wouldn't have minded whatever results I got. It is quite a jump from Prelims, despite my working lesser for Os.
Dilemma: I don't know which JC to attend. Either pick NJC or VJC and have 50-50 odds of entering, or remain in ACJC. These three each have their pros and cons, and I do not have a distinct preference.
